Course Description

This course introduces Biblio-Battle, a popular Japanese book-review game in which participants each have five minutes to present a recommended book, followed by a vote to select the “Champion Book” that the audience most wants to read. Through small-group activities and practice sessions, students develop skills in summarizing books, delivering engaging presentations, facilitating discussions, and managing time effectively. The course also encourages participants to appreciate diverse reading experiences and exchange ideas in a friendly, interactive environment. While students are welcome to participate in events such as the National University Biblio-Battle, the course is open to anyone who enjoys books, regardless of academic background or prior experience.
